Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Intermediate Care and Telemetry experience required; Cardiac and Epic experience preferred; Travel experience preferred License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: Intermediate Care experience, Telemetry experience Job Description: - Schedule includes 3x12 or 4x12 shifts at night, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. - Can accept local travelers living 75 miles or closer. - May be placed on-call for one 12-hour shift per pay period if census drops. Must be able to report within one hour of being called. - All units may handle COVID patients; no TDAP or Flu exemptions accepted, including religious exemptions and doctor notes. - The unit includes a total of 28 beds: 20-bed Telemetry level of care unit and 8-bed hardwired Intermediate Care Unit. - Patient demographics span all ages and primarily include cardiovascular and medical/surgical needs, focusing on heart failure, chest pain rule out, post-cath with and without PCI, post pacemaker/defibrillator implant. - Staffing ratio is 1 to 4/5 during the day, and 1 to 5/6 at night. - Responsibilities include care specifics such as CPAP/BiPAP, Antiarrhythmics, Vasopressors, Antihypertensives, Anticoagulants, and Sheath/TR band removal. - Fast hiring process with Modified Time offer. - No interview required for candidates. - Must include any requested time off upfront in the submission to be honored at time of offer.
