Our Adult Behavioral Health is a 16-bed unit for patients age 18 and above, while our Geriatric Behavioral Health is a 19-bed unit for patients age 55 and above. Having both behavioral units, we are able to place patients on the most appropriate unit based on each individual s need and primary diagnosis of mental illness requiring acute inpatient treatment. Patients are required to attend individual and group psychotherapy, activity therapy, and daily visits with providers. Our behavioral unit teams are actively engaged with each patient, building relationships and providing education to each patient throughout the shift. As a nurse, you have the time to get to know each of your patients and help them identify tools needed for healing. If behavioral health nursing is your passion, we are right for you direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.Job : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
