Department/Unit Summary The Emergency Department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. The ER has 22 beds, 7 bay fast track unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. The Emergency Department has been recognized company wide as a consistent top performer. The ED staff works in a team environment. The ER welcomes many area college and physician resident students in the department.
