The Opportunity:
Bishop Spencer is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is passionate about patient care, helping others and providing a superior quality of care! Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas City's premier non-profit Life Care retirement community and a proud member of the Saint Luke's Health System. Located between Westport and the Plaza we offer our residents a special place to live and our employees a truly wonderful place to work.
The Shift: This is a full-time position: Monday-Friday (6:30 am to 7:00 pm) and alternating Saturday and Sunday (6:30 am to 7:00 pm).
Our CNA's partner with our licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, organize, and carryout resident care plans. Duties include:
* Assisting residents with daily living activities
* Providing resident care and reporting resident information/needs to charge nurse
* Answering resident calls and requests for assistance
* Serving food and beverages to ensure proper resident nutrition
* Assisting residents in mobility and transport activities
* Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean and hygienic living environment
