Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
- Completion of nursing fundamentals course.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an inpatient student nurse aide within the last year.
- Must show competency with obtaining and documenting vital signs, input, output, and daily weights with various patient populations.
- Experience providing comfort and support to patients, assisting with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living, and safe transportation/handling of patients.
- Experience performing clerical duties is a plus and may be required per facility guidelines.
