If you’re ready to join a team shaping the future of automotive service, read on. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of advanced process and fixture design. What you will do: Cycle time analysis to find and execute throughput improvement projects.
Assist with capital and tooling analysis, strategies, justification, and acquisitions.
Capacity planning and strategy development for manufacturing processes
Review assembly operations, component designs, and corresponding details to verify manufacturing feasibility.
Directs the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for throughput optimization.
Participate in discovery and deployment of capital equipment projects.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.
Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
Capacity resource planning
Oversee tooling and equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
Assist NPIs (DFMA)
Develop plant layouts, material flows, and infrastructure needs.
Provides technical support for specific plant operations.
Ensure that manufacturing has accurate and detailed information on specifications to produce the part.
Additional duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
2+ years of professional experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment required.
Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
Proven Project Management experience
Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills
Experience performing DFMA events and assisting with NPIs.
