Your Role: Cardiac Operating Room RN
- Work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional care for patients undergoing a variety of complex cardiac procedures, including CABGs, TAVIs, Heart Failure treatments (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants).
- Gain valuable experience in one of the most innovative and high-impact areas of healthcare.
- Your primary duties will include scrub and circulation experience in the Adult Cardiac OR. Prior scrub experience is required, with circulating preferred.
Qualifications:
- Current RN License (NY State)
- 2+ years of OR experience, with preference given to those with experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Comfortable working both scrub and circulating roles
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Experience with minimally invasive cardiac procedures and VAD (HeartMate 2 or 3) experience is required, with cardiac transplant experience preferred.
