We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join a highly collaborative rehab team at a respected 60 acre Retirement community in Silver Spring, MD. This contract role offers the perfect blend of professional fulfillment in the suburbs of Washington, DC, with a Monday–Friday schedule that allows your weekends to truly be yours. You will provide home health care within the retirement community.

- $2000-$2250 net (after tax take home) per week.
- Local Travel Rates: $50-$55 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed, first day health benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and provide individualized treatment for both short-term and long-term care residents.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including OT, SLP, nursing, and social services.
- Document daily notes, progress reports, and discharge plans using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Help residents achieve meaningful functional outcomes related to mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
- Actively participate in care planning meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license or eligibility to obtain a compact license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Prior experience in home health or post-acute rehab is preferred
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- New grads with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
