Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Summary:
We are seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to join our team at Ascension Genesys Hospital. In this role, you will deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care within a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment. This is a union facility that values collaboration and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and patient needs
- Float between ED and ED Obs as needed
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Hospital experience is required
Required Certifications:
- Michigan RN License (active and in good standing)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS
Unit Details:
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 (subject to change based on acuity and caseload)
