Position Summary
Swain County Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitative care team. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient mobility, function, and range of motion
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and home care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members
- Promote patient safety and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- 🎓 Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
- 🕰 Preferred 1+ year of experience in acute care, outpatient rehab, or inpatient settings
- Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to serving rural communities with professionalism and empathy
