Competitive Pay:
$60-$65 per hour (approx.$124,800 - $135,200 Annual Salary)

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Perform Wound Mist Therapy treatments in compliance with state regulations and facility protocols.
Implement evidence-based wound care interventions, including offloading, compression therapy, debridement recommendations, and infection control measures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, and CA state healthcare regulations.
Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound care best practices and prevention strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor treatment efficacy and wound healing progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Stay up to date with current wound care advancements and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
New Grad Friend
1 or more years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
Active California Physical Therapist (PT) License in good standing.
Active BLS Card Required AHA or ARC
Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility (preferred but not required).
Certification in wound care (e.g., WCC, CWS, CWPT) is a plus.
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for wound care services in skilled nursing facilities.
Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
Strong clinical reasoning, patient education, and documentation skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
