Job Summary:
The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. This role supports patient diagnosis and treatment during scheduled overnight shifts and requires strong technical proficiency and independent decision-making.
Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans using established protocols to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging

Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures

Start IVs and administer contrast materials as ordered

Monitor patient safety and respond to emergent situations

Review and verify physician orders and patient history

Maintain accurate documentation and enter scan data into the PACS/EMR systems

Maintain and clean equipment according to department guidelines
Requirements:

ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required

Valid state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)

BLS (AHA) certification required

Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required

Proficiency with CT equipment and PACS/EMR systems

Ability to work independently during overnight hours
