Job Summary:
The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to a designated group of patients. This role involves applying the nursing process, clinical knowledge, current trends, and technology to ensure quality patient outcomes in alignment with the institution’s philosophy and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver all required care and responsibilities specific to the unit's scope of service
Apply clinical procedures and nursing theories relevant to the specialty area
Accurately document all aspects of patient care to ensure seamless communication within the healthcare team
Complete initial assessments on patient admission and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs
Implement, evaluate, and modify care plans and nursing interventions accordingly
Promote a culture of safety by promptly reporting or correcting safety hazards and incidents
Engage in open, respectful communication to resolve issues and foster teamwork
Provide constructive feedback and support peer professional development
Demonstrate accountability for personal learning needs and seek educational opportunities proactively
Maintain current knowledge and competency as required by departmental standards
