Position: Adult Echo Tech
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Shift Type: 10-Hour Days
Shift Hours: 07:00 – 17:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (typical, unless specified otherwise)
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARDMS/RDCS with one of the following specialties: AE, FE, or PE OR
- One CCI credential: RCS or RCCS
- Must hold active NM state licensing for Medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy
Job Summary:
The Adult Echo Tech performs comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations (echocardiograms), producing high-quality images of the heart to evaluate hemodynamics and function. Responsibilities include acquiring digital cardiac images, obtaining measurements, and ensuring patient safety by adhering to established protocols. This position is ideal for a beginner sonographer looking to further develop technical skills and broaden procedural expertise.
