Job Summary: Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) team. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care when necessary
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of recent IMC or step-down experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with diverse teams
