Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and either RCIS or ARRT with a California license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a cardiac catheterization lab specializing in coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker placements, and peripheral aortograms
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours, with start times at 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM
- Call requirement of 8 to 12 call shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month
- Patient populations include those requiring coronary and peripheral vascular interventions and device implants
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures
- Return staff or travelers must have at least a one-year break before returning
- Only one holiday will be approved for time off
- Candidates must be able to report for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- A 50 mile radius rule applies for travel eligibility; locals accepted at a lower rate
- Modules are completed during orientation via e-learning and may require 1-5 hours
- All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross and valid at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Current CA license required
- Either RCIS or ARRT certification required
- Radiology Technologist (California ARRT) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures
- Experience in coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker placements, and peripheral aortograms
- Must be able to work call as scheduled
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
