Perm Gynecologic Oncologist - Colorado Springs, CO

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in a well-established practice with a steady flow of new patients.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist, and other specialized professionals.
- Offer education and support for patients regarding available clinical trials and research opportunities.
- Participate in teaching opportunities with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, if desired.
- Operate at a Level I trauma center with access to advanced technology including the da Vinci XI surgical system.
- Manage an average patient load of 15-22 per day, primarily in an outpatient setting.
- Share on-call duties with a schedule of 1:2, primarily on weekends.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
- Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology, with completion prior to start.
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Preference for candidates with a clean malpractice record.
- DEA certification required before starting.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
- Active Colorado license or eligible to obtain.
- DEA registration must be acquired before commencement of employment.
