*** M/S Tele RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW 36hrs. ***\n*** MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS ***\n\n1)\tUnit Name: Davenport 5 - Surgical Stepdown Unit.\n\n2)\tBrief Unit Description: Two Med/Surgical Units. One 15 bed unit and one 8 bed Surgical Stepdown Unit. \n\n3)\tFloating Required: Yes.\n\n4)\tRotating Shifts Required: All Day positions are Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a). Rotation is not required for Night positions.\n\n5)\tYears of Experience Required: 2+ years.\n\n6)\tSkill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring (must be able to read tele strips), management of Chest tube, NGT, epidurals, and Capnography. \n\n7)\tSkills Sets Preferred: Management of Arterial lines and management of neo-synephrine. \n\n8)\tClinician to Patient Ratio: Patient ratios are 6-10 patients per PCA and 3-5 patients per RN. Stepdown ratios are 2-3 per RN.\n\n9)\tPatient Population: We care for patients after the following types of Surgeries: General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma.\n\n10)\tBed Count: 23.\n\n11)\tCensus: 23.\n\n12)\tEMR (Charting System): EPIC.\n\n13)\tCertifications Required: Current Massachusetts RN License. BLS.
