Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for an angiography unit, requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and RT(ARRT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an angiography unit focusing on interventional radiology procedures
- Work involves assisting with angiography examinations, line placements, angiograms, kyphoplasty, and percutaneous nephrostomy exams
- Uses GE Innova equipment
- Weekday shifts are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with possible call requirements
- Will work closely with radiologists and clinical staff to assist with interventional procedures
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with varied case types
- Call coverage may be required as needed
- Professional scrubs required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Current RT(ARRT) certification required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- License required if applicable
- Familiarity with GE Innova equipment is preferred
