Colorado Nursing Job Details
- Location: Englewood, CO 80113 – Thriving suburb near Denver, offering excellent amenities and proximity to the Rocky Mountains.
- Assignment Type: Travel RN job
- Unit: Med/Surg (Orthopedic nursing focus, 20 beds)
- Start Date: November 17, 2025
- End Date: February 16, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (surgical unit required)
- Ability to independently manage a 5-patient assignment
- Experience with EMR systems (Meditech preferred)
- Pain management and orthopedic nursing experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and positive attitude
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients, including orthopedic and trauma cases
- Perform dressing changes and aspiration procedures
- Monitor and manage pain for post-surgical patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient experience and quality outcomes
