- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 24 hours/week)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1880 - $2020
- On Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse license (verification within 30 days)
- Current certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)
- No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Preferred skills: couplet care, circulating OR cases, baby admits/catching babies, triage proficiency
- Must meet all facility-specific compliance and background check requirements
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Perform triage, couplet care, postpartum care, and assist with operating room (OR) cases as needed
- Admit and care for newborns, including initial assessments and clinical interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
