Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a busy Acute GI Med Unit providing comprehensive post-operative and surgical management care. Nurse will provide care for patients recovering from laparoscopic procedures, colorectal surgeries, hysterectomies, and cystoscopies.
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience

BLS and NIH certification required

ACLS preferred

Experience with Cerner EMR
Patient Population:
Post-op surgical management, post-op pain management, and GI-focused procedures including laparoscopic appendectomy and cholecystectomy.
