Setting: 456-Bed Acute Care Hospital – Level II Trauma Center
Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT. This role provides specialized telemetry care for adult patients across multiple med/surg units, ensuring safe and high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities

Monitor patients on telemetry, managing cardiac rhythms within unit protocol

Float to med/surg units as needed, including General Surgery, Medicine Oncology, Stroke, Cardiology, Ortho/Neuro/Trauma

Administer medications per unit policy (diuretics, anticoagulants, cardizem, dobutamine as applicable)

Escalate higher-level cardiac care (ionotropes, pressors) to PCU/ICU

Document all patient care accurately in Cerner EMR

Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications

CT State RN License required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of telemetry or med/surg experience

Ability to float across multiple units

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
