Med-Surg / Progressive Care (Step-Down) RN – Float Pool

Float Pool RN – Med-Surg / Progressive Care | Region I, WA Primary Facility: Virginia Mason Medical Center (Seattle, WA) Other Facilities: St. Anne Hospital (Burien, WA), St. Francis Hospital (Federal Way, WA) Pay: +$20/hr when floated outside primary facility Units Covered: Observation, Med-Surg, General Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry/Progressive Care Patient Ratios: Med-Surg: 4–5 patients per RN Progressive Care: 3 patients per RN Requirements: BLS & ACLS Med-Surg/PCU experience required Experience with common drips (Heparin, Nicardipine, NTG, Insulin, Cardizem, Dopamine/Dobutamine) Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling; every other weekend; holidays as needed No call or standby required Other Info: Royal blue scrubs Orientation includes General Hospital Orientation, Myles Modules, Cerner validation, and on-unit training Daily staffing sheets for unit assignments
