4 days per week from 0645 to 1715 with additional weekday calls and weekend call every 5 weeks. Flexibility is required to meet unit and patient care needs.
Job Description
The CVOR RN will work in a large, academic teaching hospital, providing high competency care in Cardio Vascular and Open Heart Operating Rooms. The position includes rotating shifts and requires traveling on holidays.
Responsibilities
- Circulate in various operating room suites, including General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for cardiovascular patients.
- Participate in scheduled calls and be available for weekend duties.
- Manage patient care and collaborate with the surgical team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience, especially in cardiovascular/open heart settings.
- Prior travel experience is mandatory.
- Epic experience within the last 2 years is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Reliable transportation is necessary due to lack of public transport access.
