Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work standard shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures
• Call duties divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend on-call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must respond to call within 30 minutes of notification
• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Work in single procedure room environment
• Must participate in "Emergency Team" assignments during facility emergencies
• No call-ins permitted - strict attendance policy
• Must be willing to stay at facility during emergency events or serve on relief team
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Must live more than 65 miles from facility
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Extensive skills required including interventional procedures, catheterizations, embolizations, and various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
