ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Adult & Geriatric Patient Population
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (19:00-07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed weekly hours)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/26/2026, End: 4/27/2026)
- Unit Size: 30-bed ICU
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:3
- Electronic Health Record: Medhost
- Call Requirements: Yes
- Float Requirements: Medical Surgical and Telemetry units (including ED holds for admissions)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2070
ICU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute ICU nursing experience
- Previous travel nurse experience required
- Ability to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Experience providing care to adult and geriatric patients
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
- Manage patients with complex conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG post-op day 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using Medhost EHR
- Participate in call rotation and float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as required
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices
