Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit, which consists of 37 beds. The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in a high-acuity environment, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced telemedicine environment.
- Monitor patient conditions and provide timely intervention as needed.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and interventions in the EPIC charting system.
- Participate in charge responsibilities and be flexible to float to other units if required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- At least 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
- A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
- Active New York RN license.
- Current NIH and AHA BLS certifications.
