Telemetry RN Job Details

- Unit: Neuro Medical / Telemetry – 10th Floor
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Number of Beds: 36-bed Telemetry unit
- Start Date: January 19, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Experience with medication drips, bubble studies, and EEGs preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system a plus
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients on the Telemetry unit, delivering high-quality clinical care
- Administer medication drips and perform specialized procedures including bubble studies and EEGs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (RNs, Patient Care Techs, Unit Clerks)
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families throughout the care process
