• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: Yes – Any Med Surg or PCU
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 14
• Patient Ratios: 4:1; 5:1 (& specialty teams w/TAVR, MitraClip or Watchman)
• Equipment: Phillips Telemetry Monitors; Safeguards; FemStops; TR Bands; TVP
• EMR: Cerner
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 Years Cardiac PCU experience, IV insertion, Telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCCN, Pre/Post Cath Lab, Sheath pull experience
• Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiac Recovery
*Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre/Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved. **THIS IS NOT PACU**
- Comfortable caring for a 4-5 intermediate patient team
