High School Required Accredited Program Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Required Associate’s Degree Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Preferred Experience Experience Type Years Required/Preferred Nursing ≥2 Preferred Certification & Licensures Certification/Licensure Type Required/Preferred Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required Certification in a Nursing Specialty Area, by an organization recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing Preferred Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date.
