Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC
Phoenix, AZ
Night Shift | 3x12s | 13 Weeks
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced LTAC RN for a night shift travel contract in Phoenix. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering quality patient care and providing supervision to LPNs, CNAs, and new staff while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission

Develop and implement individualized care plans
-
Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and weekly re-evaluations
-
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities
-
Lead direct patient care efforts using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate
-
Promote patient and staff safety in handling, infection control, fall prevention, and more
-
Supervise, train, and delegate appropriately to support staff
-
Maintain clear communication with physicians, managers, and team members
-
Monitor supply use and promote cost-effective care delivery

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Participate in team-building and professional development initiatives
Requirements:

Active RN license (AZ or compact)
-
BLS required (ACLS preferred)
-
1+ year of acute or LTAC experience strongly preferred

Ability to manage time and care priorities effectively
-
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
