Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in the Operating Room, functioning independently across various specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart). The candidate must be proficient in robotic surgeries using the Davinci Xi and DV5 robots and have experience in Level II trauma facilities.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for various surgical specialties.
- Administer blood products and manage infection control.
- Ensure compliance with universal protocol and safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Participate in education and training of new staff as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a Level II trauma environment.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
- Robotic surgery experience is a must for proficiency.
