Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring 3 years of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a large hospital Operating Room with 41 ORs
- Level 1 Trauma Center with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Care for a variety of surgical cases including General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
- Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required
- Day shift (3x12 hours) from 10:45 to 23:15, all days of the week
- Required to float to other ORs within the hospital as needed
- Weekend shifts required per unit needs
- No on-call required
- Must not have been employed by UCHealth or its affiliates in any capacity within the past two years
- Completion of assigned online modules required during orientation
- No blocked scheduling requests allowed
- A maximum of 10 days RTO approved per 13-week contract; RTO not permitted during specified dates
- Holiday and high-demand period coverage may be required
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- No first-time travelers will be considered
