Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a skilled RN for a Neuro ICU night shift travel assignment in Indianapolis requiring at least 2 years of recent ICU experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Neuro ICU within an intensive care medical surgical nursing unit
- Position is for night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week assignment length
- Care for neurological critical care patients
- Unit utilizes EKG monitoring equipment
- Responsibilities include providing critical care nursing to neurological patient populations
- Required to take and pass onsite EKG exam after clearance
- Night shift rotation is required
- Dress code and orientation details provided upon assignment confirmation
- Candidates must be prepared for rapid onboarding and compliance with clinical testing requirements
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in the Neuro ICU specialty
- Evidence of no employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Completion of EKG testing as part of the hiring process with up to 2 attempts permitted
- US Social Security Number required
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
