- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,720–$1,840
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license (Arkansas or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Experience in postpartum and antepartum care preferred
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery process
- Administer medications and support pain management for patients
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families during childbirth and postpartum care
- Accurately document all nursing care and patient interactions
- Assist with postpartum and antepartum care as needed
