Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience and EPIC proficiency for a full-time, variable shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
- Full-time schedule with 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM
- On-call rotation after 5:00 PM on weekdays and during weekends, supported by a team of primary and backup techs
- Must participate in call rotation with 6 to 7 staff members
- Floating to qualified units or campuses may be required according to facility needs
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Must be willing to complete pre-assignment modules and testing as required
- Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays
- Modules prior to start are paid, up to 16 hours
- Scrubs or dress code details will be provided by the facility
- Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; full benefits at 100+ miles, with a bill rate reduction between 50–99.9 miles
- Team support available within the department
- Duties include all routine and advanced IR procedures within the scope of practice
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Interventional Radiology
- Previous experience with Epic EMR for at least 1 year required
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
