- Full-time, on-site, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit, including post-op, orthopedic, neuro, and trauma patients
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including dysrhythmia management
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Assist with surgical procedures such as total joint replacements, hysterectomies, and other orthopedic or neurosurgical cases
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner or equivalent EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current IN RN license in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 1.5 years of RN experience in a related setting
- BLS certification required; NIHSS and ACLS preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and major holidays (must work 2 out of 3 major holidays)
- Candidates must have current immunizations and pass background and compliance checks
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neurological, orthopedic, or trauma units
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret dysrhythmias
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems
$1980 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
