In need of a Night shift RN for the Observation Medical Unit (essentially a Med Surg Unit)

**Cannot apply if they have been perm in the last 10 years at Owensboro or Twin Lakes
**EPIC experience is required

i. Licensure and certifications – KY LICENSE or COMPACT License and BLS and ACLS required also IV Certification is preferred
ii. Education – Diploma in Nursing, Associate’s degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
iii. Experience – 2 years previous med-surge experience preferred

Specific details: The observation unit at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is a 24-bed unit that focuses on observational care of a variety of diagnoses requiring additional diagnostic testing and monitoring to determine the best course of treatment for the patient. The majority of our patient population is cardiac, respiratory and general medical. In addition, we care for COVID positive symptomatic patients, titratable cardiac drips, patients from post-procedural and outpatient infusion areas in an overflow capacity. Our unit exhibits all of Owensboro Health’s core values while providing excellent care to every patient as evidence by our team atmosphere and ability to work together.
