Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with a CO or compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and at least 2 years of PACU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the PACU at an outpatient surgery center
- Care for pre-op, Phase 1, and Phase 2 recovery patients including pediatric patients
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- No weekends and no call required
- Charting is completed using Epic EMR
- Floating is not required unless staffing needs change
- First-time travelers will be considered if all experience requirements are met
- Dark blue scrubs are required
- A maximum of 10 days RTO is allowed per 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during peak holiday periods
- No blocked scheduling requests will be approved
- Mandatory training modules must be completed on the first day
- Candidates who have applied to UCHealth internal travel or permanent positions in the last two years will not be considered
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Experience caring for pediatric patients in a PACU setting
- Epic charting experience preferred
