Overview
Clark Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including triage, assessment, treatment, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Support and mentor new staff or nursing students when applicable.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
