Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring pediatric recovery experience and a CO or compact state RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position in the PACU at an outpatient surgery center
- Shift is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Must work in pre-op, phase 1, and phase 2 recovery areas
- No weekends or on-call responsibilities
- Pediatric recovery experience required
- Charting is completed in Epic
- First-time travelers are eligible if experience requirements are met
- Scrubs required in dark blue
- Floating not required unless staffing needs change
- Holiday and blocked scheduling restrictions apply
- A maximum of 10 approved days off per contract; blackout dates apply
- Applicants with prior employment at UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years are not eligible
Requirements
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
- Experience with pediatric recovery required
- Epic charting experience preferred
