Registered Nurse Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
- Unit: Main Operating Room (21 OR suites; all surgical specialties)
- Contract Type: Travel Nursing Job
- Start Date: November 24, 2025
- End Date: February 23, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (6:30am – 5:00pm), holiday rotation
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: Up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks
- Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1820-$1870
Operating Room RN Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred)
- BLS certification required
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)
- Experience in Level I Trauma Center preferred
- Scrub nurse experience strongly preferred
- First-time travel nurses accepted
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures: trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, academic healthcare environment
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts as required
- Float between operating room units to support hospital operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC charting system
