Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in surgical procedures, with a focus on vascular and neurology specialties. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all surgical procedures across various specializations including vascular, neurology, cardiovascular, and transplant.
- Provide patient care preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the availability of necessary surgical instruments and equipment.
- Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
- Previous charge experience is required.
- Trauma Level I and II experience required.
- Must provide evidence of BLS certification; certifications from NBSTSA or NCCT are preferred.
- Experience with vascular procedures and a range of neurology surgeries.
- Travel experience is required.
