12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, three shifts per week, with every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Job Description
The Medical Surgical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with healthcare teams to meet the needs of patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care according to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and report significant changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Active nursing license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
