Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Oncology/Women's Surgical Unit, where you will provide high-quality care to patients requiring oncology and surgical services. Your role will involve collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist in procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and self-care post-discharge.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Chemo certification.
