RN Critical Care Float Pool jobs in Boston, MA give you the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple medical-surgical units at the facility. You will rotate through a variety of adult medical-surgical areas, adapting quickly to new environments while ensuring safe, compassionate care. Your responsibilities include providing direct patient care, making informed nursing judgments, systematically assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You will also coordinate care, direct assistive personnel, and act as a patient advocate by building trust and maintaining effective communication with patients and families.
Required qualifications include an active RN license, experience in direct patient care, and certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Experience with telemetry, patient assessment, and infection prevention is recommended.
