Description:
A hospital in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The technologist will assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient OR workflow.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience

NBSTSA CST required at the time of submission

Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile field and proper instrumentation

Prepare operating rooms and equipment prior to surgery

Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during procedures

Ensure accurate counts and documentation of instruments and supplies

Collaborate with surgical team to optimize patient outcomes

Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
