Job Description
This position offers opportunities across all MedSurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units. Epic experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have Level 1 trauma and travel experience. Candidates must be well-rounded and strong in various specialties including Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in MedSurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in the Epic system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active nursing license in the state of practice.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience in MedSurg, Stepdown, or Telemetry settings.
