Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens MRI experience and ARRT (MR), AHA BLS credentials for an evening shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital radiology department on the MRI unit
- Handles routine neuro, body, and MSK MRI exams using Siemens scanners including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto
- No cardiac MRI exams are required
- Evening shift schedule Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- No weekends, no call, and no holiday coverage required
- Flexible contract length from 13 to 26 weeks
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- PBDS Assessment is waived; ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing will be completed during orientation
- Assignments at any single facility location are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning
- Dress code or scrubs policy is not specified
- All time off requests must be discussed during the interview
- Permanent staff cannot return to the facility for at least one year after their previous end date
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
- Experience with all Siemens MRI scanners is required
- ARRT (MR) and AHA BLS certifications required
- Ohio license required (permanent or compact, as applicable)
- License required if applicable
- Two supervisory references in MRI from within the past 12 months are required for consideration
- Must be nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start
- Active certifications only; no pending credentials will be accepted
- Open background check cases are not accepted
